- dredmorbius 4y agoThis is a very brief (2 minute) interview from July 8, 2022, six days ago, during the outage. There's no information on the cause or furture measures at avoidance.
- thomassmith65 4y agoIt's a short interview: the moment the interviewer uses the word 'monopoly', Rogers employee #2 jumps into the interview to end the call. I assume the timing of that exit was an accident, but only because it's such an obvious 'bad look' for Rogers.
- dredmorbius 4y agoThat would have been useful to point out in a comennt. After determining what the inteview date was, I'd assumed that there was no further information. HN doesn't permit editorialising titles, but you can submit a comment with your link submission. It won't be privileged (that is, has no special priority), but as the first comment on the post will tend to influence subsequent discussion. The refusal to address monopoly status or mergers, and the interruption of the PR flak is notable. Thanks for pointing that out.
