Imho both fast chargers AND availability of changing at the parking. I guess it is a lesser problem for USA, but in Europe we often just don't have any charging capabilities at the parkings were car sits overnight. And neither at work (even at the fancy new office buildings).
So long as my EV can't charge at home, or at least at the office (which is even less relevant with the Covid work from home), it is not a viable proposition. Imagine how that works - you get home at 19:00, or with EV you get to the nearest sane charging spot (sane means - a) working, b) reasonably priced), where you put a car and then ride for 30 minutes on a bus to home, then after 3-4 hours passes, you need to get out again, ride bus to the charging station, and then get car home after midnight probably. All with paying x2-x10 times more than people charging EV at their own home at private citizen rates. It is insanity and not even an option.
- mdp2021 4y ago> It is insanity and not even an option Yes but you have seen the parliament (and their policies have been at least partially "drawing the smile of a child in the sky with the thousand colours of the rainbow" together with "it is sexually weakening to consider the 'cons' side of the 'pros/cons' table"¹ for over a decade)... What is supposed to happen, practically, in terms of daily live, after 2035? (¹They have already created incommensurable damage with certain crippled policies, including health damages and further.)
