Didn't a study show that pretty much all football players have CTE? I guess we're all just okay with it?
- cafard 4y agoPretty much, yes. CTE can be confirmed only through autopsy, so the evidence is limited, but by my recollection something over 95% of autopsies of pro football players that looked for CTE found it. OK with it? Well, the NFL is going strong. USC and UCLA have thought it worth their while to join the Big Ten, and certainly not for the lacrosse competition. I haven't been in the habit of watching football games in quite a long time, though this has more to do with competition for my time at a lovely season of the year. What I would have done had the news been out in my football-watching days, I don't know.
