- Mindwipe 4y agoNo, there have been multiple official announcements.
- godelmachine 4y agoI think it’s a infeasible move by Netflix to re-capture it’s lost subscriber base. They need to focus on content which people like (For ex - thrillers) and cheaper subscription cost rather than an ad-supported platform. Netflix will run into same issues eventually which Facebook did.

- asar 4y agoMaybe a bit of a stretch going only from this announcement. But Netflix could be an interesting acquisition target for Microsoft.
- danielfoster 4y agoNetflix must have gotten a killer deal.
- wodenokoto 4y agoI’m assuming there a very few who can deliver the amount of video advertisement that Netflix needs. And the main contender is YouTube/google which I assume Netflix sees as a competitor.
