There will be some parents who have genuinely dire situations and have bad colleagues lacking empathy. There will also be parents who will use the excuse of purported childcare to shift their workload on childless colleagues. And as usual, the majority of cases will be somewhere in the middle with reasonable situations like some parents having genuine difficulties where their colleagues pitch in with accommodations and parents return that favor in some kind. But of course no one wants to publish that because that probably won't generate clicks.
