I read this and was baffled. I've never broken a pair of glasses. The article made me realize I needed to clean my glasses. I wiped them off with a wipe from a pack of wipes I always use. A few hours later, I just realized one of the hinges on my glasses has no tension anymore. It just swings freely. What a strange coincidence.
