How is Lightning not a blockchain system?
It depends on a blockchain?
- olalonde 4y agoYes, the lightning network is built on top of Bitcoin and depends on it but the transactions happen "off-chain". I was just making a generic claim about payment processors that enable "off-chain" BTC transactions, from the decentralized ones like Lightning to the completely centralized ones like Paypal.
