Aim, Yahoo, MSN, Skype, what else was running back in the day?
- amluto 4y agoIIRC Google Talk or Chat or whatever it was called (the XMPP product that worked quite well) had some video support, and there was even a degree of their party client support.
- fswd 4y agoI remember... I had half dozen chat clients open, 100+ open tabs in Mozilla Phoenix browser, editors with large projects open for weeks,... compiling, building kernels, running SQL servers, running multiple window VMs, ... all with 100-200 day uptimes. This was back in 2004-2006. AMD Athlon 64, RHEL 3. 512mb of ram... dual 19" LCD displays.
