Perhaps not, but energy is the "everything killer" of inflation since it's a major input to nearly every business that happens in the physical world (and it's non-trivial for the virtual world as well).
- jonasdegendt 4y agoI'm in Europe and I had a very favorable energy contract for the last couple of years. Well, that contract ended and my rates got hiked 800%. It sure put everything I do on a daily basis inside of the house into perspective.
