Calculus Homework Help Online
- lkuty 4y agoSeeing LaTeX there would be great for formulas.
- mce7in 4y agoThanks for your valuable feedback. We'll integrate KaTeX feature into our software as soon as possible.
- mce7in 4y agoAn online homework help community for Calculus students.
- 8jy89hui 4y agoWhat’s the difference between this and something like Stack Exchange or Quora? It seems pretty similar in both scope and execution.
- notpushkin 4y agoI think it's oriented towards simpler questions, “solve my homework for me” type. https://math.stackexchange.com/ https://math.stackexchange.com/ might be most relevant for more serious questions (and https://mathoverflow.net/ https://mathoverflow.net/ for research level discussion).
- mce7in 4y agoYes, the main mission of this project is what notpushkin said. StackExchange or Quora not our main competitors.
- notpushkin 4y agoI'm wondering how you'd get people to solve all the different problems though, given they are not interesting and the askers aren't paying for them.
- mxben 4y agoReally needs Mathjax/Katex support otherwise the math formulas become very hard to read. Adds mental load just to parse the math text and make sense of it. Take a look at any of the questions and answers at https://math.stackexchange.com/ https://math.stackexchange.com/ to see how it should really be done.
- mce7in 4y agoThat's a good point. We've been working on the integration of KaTeX to our software. I'm also a StackExchange user like you and love their mission. However, our main mission in the Study Hab project is answering homework questions mostly like Chegg, but for free.

- notpushkin 4y agoI'd say this needs a "Show HN" in the title.
