So that is where I am at basically, very similar story. I gambled all our money away, stopped showing up for work, presented as drunk unknowingly. I was never violent but I was basically like a child with no self control or ability to delay gratification. I was lucky that I started getting severe headaches and nausea that lead to scans otherwise I'd be divorced, homeless and who knows what.
