Edits to a cholesterol gene could stop the biggest killer on earth
- LinuxBender 4y agoI will be keeping an eye on this one. Not because I will use it but because I suspect it will be abused. If this was only used for the people with the genetic disorder that causes extraordinarily high cholesterol to be produced, then I think its a great idea and quite an accomplishment. If on the other hand, just as with statin drugs, it is used on people that produce less than 4 grams of cholesterol per day in their liver and becomes another artificially booming business then we must at it to the list.
