  > Amazon Fire tablets I received a 7" one as a gift about 5 years ago, but never logged into it. It's always been as slow as hell. Two months ago, I got curious and looked up if LineageOS supported it, and it required a hardware mod to root it. (Opening the back cover, and shorting something out while plugging it in.) Did that, and got LineageOS (albeit outdated) running. Should have done that years ago. It's actually usable now! Bye Bezos!
