I've never had or even heard of such experience, I always had the same quality of service of Taxi in Paris as in Germany. (= very good quality) I'll admit that I just take it twice a year when I go visit my aunt. But my brother lived for 7 years in Paris in the 2000s, and I've never heard him complain outside of the price. I'm genuinely surprised by what you're saying (Yes I am a native french speaker), if you didn't have such a good comment history I would have assumed you were an Uber comment farm account.
