Thanks, that is a rational explanation for the trend I've been seeing. (it's been years of this, just recently it feels like another up-tick...)

  It's so hard to fight a pro-nuclear opinion when you're arguing against people of 0 science or engineering background and only see toxic waste that is difficult to dispose of as the problem. Recent oil prices and obvious climate catastrophes have started shifting the general publics opinions and thus, many of us are coming out from under rocks so to speak.
