I bet it works similar to the garage door opening hack (opensesame by Samy Kamkar) and utilizes De Brujin Sequence. You don't need a briefcase for such. A small Raspberry Pi with a Yard Stick One is suffice.
- buescher 4y agoopensesame is clever, but it only works on fixed code schemes decoded with a shift register or equivalent. This vulnerability affects rolling code schemes.
