Netguard- no root Internet blocker per app
- maverick74 4y agoI used netguard for years but i had one complain about it: it would either completely block an app from accessing internet or it would allow it total access. In some apps I wanted to keep the the internet access for them to function correctly, but i wanted to block everything else (from ads to telemetry) as a result of a lack of trust on it. With netguard the solution was to buy an addon that would allow that. But since i'm not scrooge mcduck... i had to keep the basic version. UNTIL... I found TrackerControl ( trackercontrol.org ) it's based on netguard but with no restriction on the features. I can now have all the features minus ads and telemetry on the apps i don't trust. :) give it a try
