Monad is an interface, just like List. You don't implement a list using a monad, anymore than you implement a list using a set or a tree.
- sudosysgen 4y agoYou could absolutely implement a list using a set or a tree if you wanted. In the same way that we say that you would use generics to implement a list, you would be using monads to implement a list. It's really more of a design pattern.
