I am not a fan of self-checkout because it always needs some sort of assistance of a shop employee because of a article that need their approval, you accidentally scanned twice and they need to remove the article, it can't detect the article you just scanned in the bagging area etc. It's a painful experience. Cashier is so much quicker. And it's video recording you when you are using the self-checkout machine.
