Ultimately, the choice most people seem to be making is this:
Do I want to devote nearly all my waking hours to work or do I want to have some modicum of personal time that isn’t devoted to making other people money?
When looked at through that lens, the “WFH debate” seems wildly stupid. The C-suite better wake up to the fact that this is the choice, not the BS narrative they’re pushing. Collaboration isn’t what feeds their egos. Controlling the lives of others is what does, and we can all see it now. The flimsy protests otherwise only make execs look petty and small. The jig is up bros.
