...and I thought this is somehow about squashing commits in a toxic way, e.g. rewriting the commit message to seem that you've done all the work yourself. Was surprised that it's already a syndrome though.
- formerly_proven 4y agoOne of my annoyances with GitHub's UI is how it emphasizes committer and commit date (in particular), things which are less relevant and usually just noise compared to the author and authoring date.
