This article is pretty funny “[VW] said it would continue to use the cannons if necessary”.
Not sure if VW is just giving lip service by “complying” and limiting usage of those cannons - while reserving the right to continue using them.
My TDI was build in Puebla and I didn’t know about this - pretty interesting. 150 acres is a lot of cars
