Apple knows what's best for you, otherwise you are holding it wrong ( https://edition.cnn.com/2010/TECH/mobile/06/25/iphone.problems.response/index.html https://edition.cnn.com/2010/TECH/mobile/06/25/iphone.proble... ) ... The rigidity of doing things the "Apple way" on Apple devices are good for lay people who aren't tech savvy, but can be real frustrating for power users who want to do things differently. A simple example is maximising windows on macOS - Apple has decided you can only maximise macOS windows only to fullscreen mode. But if you press the ALT / OPT key, some apps (not all) can be maximised fully without going to fullscreen mode. But not Apple apps like Safari or Finder - they again behave weirdly and only "maximise" vertically but not horizontally. It can often be very frustrating trying to customise Apple devices to your way of doing things ...
- behnamoh 4y agoThis is really frustrating. And you’re spot on about the window maximizing in macOS. We shouldn’t really have to install Rectangle, Tiles, etc. to “fix” this. There thing is, even normal users often complain about it.
