- SpikeDad 4y agoTypical crapola tech media headline. What's "successful"? Well to 9to5mac looking for clickbait successful is "total units sold". Of course that number is impossible to determine accurately since neither Samsung or Apple release that information. Second smartphone profits are still heavily weighted towards Apple vs all other smartphone vendors. That's a perfectly valid criteria for "successful". Naturally a headline like "Apple still most profitable smart phone vendor in Q1 2022" would get a magnitude less clicks.
