To me juman brains can’t be “replaced by thinking machines” because they already are thinking machines. Starting from there, the next interesting question is more … technical, and less philosophical. Can our brains understand themselves, with or without aid (computers)? If our brains are too complex for us to understand, then that’s where the path ends. If we can understand them, other questions emerge.
