- jleyank 4y agoAd. People got wound up about spike protein side effects. Embedding nano particles with lots of them pretty much sounds like the conspiracy people’s wet dream. If there is a conserved region of the virus that is required for activity, that might be used as an antibody target. If so, and the complex doesn’t show activity things can proceed. Assuming people will take it… Or, like the flu it will remain variable making each year’s shot a guess. And with the occasional “oh, shit” years.
