Probably for the best.
The only way I was going back to twitter was if Musk took over, took decisive action, and it stopped being a left wing echo-chamber.
But wasting more of my life on social media is not a net positive.
So overall I'm glad, I can continue to ignore twitter exists except when people occasionally link a tweet (which half the time I regret clicking anyway).
- jungle2jungle 4y agoSo you want to give the richest man in the world more control over the flow of information? I've always though it better to avoid massive concentrations of power, but that's just me.
- LAC-Tech 4y agoI mean there's no point me joining a platform like twitter where I'm plainly not welcome. Musk might have changed that.
- jungle2jungle 4y agoSo you want to rejoin twitter, and the best way to make that a possibility is to concentrate more power around the richest person in the world?
- LAC-Tech 4y agoI dunno how many different ways I can explain this. - Twitter is a left wing echo chamber - I thought Elon might have changed that - He didn't end up buying it, moot point - So I'm not on there. How rich he is or isn't was irrelevant in my calculus.
- jungle2jungle 4y agoSo you only care about rejoining twitter, and not what happens to other people?
