    To buy more tesla stocks than he had before, at a lower price point each. He doesn't hide he would like to have the company private. Owning more stocks moves him closer to this ideal. Just speculating, I have no inside info on what he really wants to do with the cash.

    To prevent itbecome worthless from a Tesla stock crash. Either putting it in the abnk or other investments.

    He knows Tesla is overpriced and wants to take some of his money off the table. He knows it is due for a major haircut.
