This is pure cringe. There is plenty of hiring going on with priorities above being the best person for the job. Look at the current Vice-President of the US for example.

- UberFly 4y agoThe interview process involves an election. Followed by a yearly salary. Hired by every definition of the word.
- malandrew 4y agoThey essentially are. The presidential candidate hires them to make their candidacy more appealing to voters. The whole ticket is voted in, but the vice president is effectively hired onto the ticket by the presidential candidate.
