- caramelcustard 4y agoDepends on what tech industry we're talking about. Do you consider car parts to be mainstream? Manufacturing equipment?
- yrgulation 4y agoThats ok, those industries haven't worked out well either. Tweaking car designs here and there is not innovation.
- Arkanum 4y agoNot wanting to sound too snarky, but TSMC is entirely dependent on the Dutch ASML for the machines used in their fabs.
- ksec 4y agoMainstream in What? Consumer or as in Industries? Like Telecom Equipment from Ericsson, EUV from ASML, Your Mobile GPU from ARM EU Branch? I mean more than half of HN never heard of SAP.
