Well, perhaps this will move politicians to create policy, rather than relying on a court ruling.
- bediger4000 4y agoGiven the Senate filibuster and the unrepresentative US Senate vote apportionment, a court ruling was both (A) the only way to create the policy, and (B) the only way for a strident, religious minority to annul the policy. Let's face it, if the Republicans had managed to create an anti-abortion policy legislatively, they'd have been punished severely in the next two or three election cycles. The big donors can't have that - who would lower their taxes? So, court ruling it is.
