Anyone aware of how Dish's service would interfere with Starlink?
- wmf 4y agoIt's on the same frequency so Dish's terrestrial cell towers would presumably overwhelm the weaker signals from Starlink satellites.
- Arnt 4y agoIs it the same frequency or close enough to bleed? Also, the antennae have to be directional in order to talk to satellites. It's plausible but far from self-evident that a closer noise source disturbs them. It depends on how well the Spacex CPE hardware suppresses signals from other directions and… and this and that.
