Baby was sent home from ER twice, suffered brain damage
- spacemanmatt 4y agoThis is tragic negligence from both the ER, but also the parents that would circumcise a baby. I lament.
- kjax 4y agoIndeed. Let the child decide for itself, when it's old enough to do so.
- isitmadeofglass 4y agoYou could say the same about baptizing children.
- mike00632 4y ago... and they do. The Protestant practice is to baptize people when they are old enough to affirm their choice. It became a tradition that takes place at a similar time to Catholic first communion or Jewish bar and bat mitzvah.
- isitmadeofglass 4y agoThat’s not really the same as the cult indoctrination at birth. It’s more of a subscription renewal.

- ShivShankaran 4y agoI thought circumcision was banned in Canada. If not, it's high time to get rid of this barbarian practice. Circumcisions made sense thousand year ago when you are in a desert and can't shower daily
- lwswl 4y agoSomething tells me that the parents should have done something to prevent blood loss themselves as well, instead of just blatant reliance on the system(the article doesn't appear to mention any steps she took besides returning to the hospital).
- sushid 4y agoIt seems like the "article" was compiled from the facts stated in the lawsuit. I don't think their suit would cover what actions they privately took in between hospital visits.
