We've been trained to ignore enormous, prominent, clear and contrasting things by decades on the internet.
- sph 4y agoAnd it made me notice that StackOverflow has a banner on top. I literally have never known there was a search bar up there. I think more than ignoring banners, we've become really good at just focusing at the content div. A bit like the Reader Mode in your browser.
