- xbmcuser 4y agoIn business and marketing studies we are taught that companies in trying to protect their cash cows stagnate and are out innovated and surpassed by competitors. Very few companies are able to sacrifice their cash cow for something new. I think many of the western economies in trying to protect their older industries are now going to loose out to China as the world moves to renewables and electric from coal and gas.
