A big joke indeed. Massive overhead has been created for what is a relatively small job. The Spacemen (because the Air Force has Airmen, right?) seem awfully concerned with all the trappings of being a separate military service than actually doing a job. What the US military needs is more unity, not less. There is also significant lobbying for a "Space National Guard" too. Give me a fucking break.
