maybe stupid question, but wasn't apple a part of prism (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/jun/06/us-tech-giants-nsa-data https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/jun/06/us-tech-giants...) are these US companies not legally obligated through some clandestine patriot act style laws to enable backdoors - and to deny the existence of these at any cost.
