Gnome depends on it, so that would be challenging. These days I just use alpine for servers where I can.

- Crysstalis 4y agoNo, that is very wrong. GNOME can be used on it if you use elogind. Truthfully, they will not adopt OpenRC because OpenRC is not at all comparable to systemd.
- johnny22 4y agognome works on FreeBSD, so that can't be true. It probably uses the logind fork though.
