This https://toolspace.dev/explore#products https://toolspace.dev/explore#products seems to be the list of open source tools/products known to this site.
I don't know how to search for specific tools, by certain tags.
When the tools are listed, there is an icon and name and a description but the extra tags that the site would use to find the tool are not visible.
I used their button to add a database (YottaDB) to see if the public can add tools.
Simple answer: Yes.
More complex answer:
1) The YottaDB tool I added does not really use github.com, but uses gitlab.com instead. They publish irregularly from gitlab to github, so I put in their github URL. No problem, but I can imagine a tool only being published on bitbucket, etc.
2) No place to add a description paragraph. But the existing tools seem to have one.
3) No place to add extra tags to make searching easier.
For example, YottaDB is used a lot in medical and financial institutions, but no way to say that.
4) Where would I put extra info like the sizes of databases it works well with, disk and memory, compatibility with various Operating Systems, network protocol compatible with PostgreSQL, etc.
