for instance, the idea that the soul enters the fetus is not an old one, nor should it be written off. I just find it hypocritical for people who have been virtue signaling about spiritualism/virtue signaling/yoga folks to write this off as voodoo.
multiple cultures have arrived at the same number of time it takes for the soul to enter the womb, however the Christian definition is that life begins only after the first breath of air, which is contradictory to cases where the fetus is actually breathing through the umbilical cords.
there's just no wrong or right answers here, yes women should have agency over their body and mind as all humans should do but at what point does it become apathy vs liberty?
- stevenalowe 4y agothe first two paragraphs are clearly disinformation, if not outright fantasy: "Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Twitter account struck an urgent tone the Sunday after the Supreme Court’s historic abortion ruling. She implored her 968,000 followers to have the “fortitude to act” against Department of Defense leaders for refusing to recognize the court’s decision, which eliminates the constitutional right to an abortion. But DOD leaders never stated they would ignore the court’s ruling in the Dobbs v. Jackson case."
