Hi! The main advantage of being call based is that you wouldn't be bound to a single server. Having VCs behind servers is an extra step. Taking them out, and joining your friends' session rather than joining and making a discord server for every single friend group you have. In essence I'm recreating the lobby experience from multiplayer games such as PUBG/Fortnite/L4D2 etc... where you hop in, and boom you have a session ready to go, and friends can see you, and join you directly(Not limited by being in the same server, all you have to be are friends). I need to refine the marketing website to reflect that, but I feel like you would understand what I'm going for if you gave it a shot. Thank you though, you make a very good point.
