I prefer non-technical. I find most managers are just not very good, such that I as a developer have to manage them.
And I find it easier to manage a non-technical manager versus a technical manager.
- jordiburgos 4y agoI came here to say this. A technical manager has also the downsides of a developer like bad estimations, i.e. "This would just take me 1 day". Also, hard to find a good technical person that has good people skills.
