This is super impressive. Using arbitrary code execution, the speedrunner injected a whole new set of models, sound, dialog and code satisfying many urban legends and beta content from the game 23 years after it was released.
I love that we can now reimagine old games and make them do anything, include fulfill childhood playground rumors of secret levels, powerups, endings…

- randomhodler84 4y agoHehe yeah, had to be TAS-bot inputting the exploit and payload, the video said it was over 2M button presses over 4 controllers! I think some of the simpler ACE could be done by a human, like the Mario 3 one…
