- lmm 4y agoNot necessarily. A pub landlord and a property landlord are completely separate concepts. Of course the same person might be both.
- astrange 4y agoTraditionally they did but it’s not required. It’s like if you called property managers landlords whether or not they actually are one.
- rossriley 4y agoNot any more, the majority are owned by the brewery groups and leased to the landlords. If you see an independent pub in the UK it will be labelled as a 'Free House' that means it is independent of a brewery and can sell any beers it likes.
