Sometimes I wonder what planet these people are coding on. Hosted k8s makes it so easy. The other day I spun up a new eks cluster, created some Iam roles, installed the cert-manager, external dns, and aws alb ingress controller. Then I pushed a deployment, a service, and an ingress and BOOM. Log aggregation, automatic dns, secret handling, ...I can go on. It is simpler than normal aws services in my experience.
