It is far more sad seeing “environmental” organizations oppose desperately needed renewable energy, because they want to save a few trees.
- petee 4y agoWhy is it desperately needed? People have chosen to waste ridiculous amounts of energy on a wide range of stupid things, why should the rest of us suffer loss of natural habitats to support that? The point of renewable energy is to help the environment, not kill and replace it. We are talking about RI, not India, we have plenty of wind, and already use natural gas in the interim, and we are not in any shortage. Other places can make great use of solar fields, because they have the space for them.
