One thing about this video that caught my attention: around 14:40, Tesla is in the "forward" lane, but it tries to make a left turn. While I agree that this is against the rules, my experience with driving around a big city is: half of the human drivers would try to do the same, if they accidentally ended up in the wrong lane. So, if Tesla is using data captured while human is driving, can it pick up bad habits as well ?
- TheChaplain 4y agoYes, it would not surprise me. I once had Google Maps asking me to go against a one-way road, but I think their algorithms are better as it is very rare I encounter stupidities like that.
- AlexandrB 4y agoI think more alarming was at 12:20 when it tried to go through an intersection on a solid red.
- salawat 4y agoGarbage in, garbage out. The penultimate product of Machine Learning... Is the oddest human savant to ever exist.
- deng 4y agoHere's the thing: I don't think the Tesla even realizes it is in the wrong lane.
