No joke, I wish I was....
FAA during the beginning of the jet age punted and delegated inspections and other functions to the OEMs but they are still FAA based employees just hired by Boeing.
- GekkePrutser 4y agoNormally when a regulator's staff are receiving money from the party they're regulating we have other words for that than 'delegation'. More like 'corruption'. But if the system itself does it it's suddenly ok. :/
- landemva 4y agoSlight wording change: When the government itself does it the attorneys move to dismiss the lawsuits because of 'government immunity'. And little can change until Supreme Court revisits that doctrine.
