It's hard making such a decision when you're exhausted. When you get a chance to think about what -you- would really like to do -- by unloading the exhausting job in favor of a sustaining one -- then you can look for chances to say "I'd really like to work here, because it'd let me ..." do that. Then getting the experience won't be exhausting.
