People complain that Safari is a terrible web citizen. Here I go to this website, with Safari and my trusty ad blocker extension, and the page keeps reloading endlessly. Who’s to blame? The crappy website, Safari, or its extension?
- Angostura 4y agoWell, loading the page on Safari Mac with 1Blocker has no problems at all.
- armchairhacker 4y agopage keeps reloading likely means the webpage is crashing, which is Safari’s fault
- jeromegv 4y agoNo problem with Safari Version 15.5 (16613.2.7.1.9, 16613)
- egypturnash 4y agoIt's working fine on Safari (OSX) for me. Possibly with a different ad blocker.
- travisgriggs 4y agoIs this /s? I mean—-tongue in cheek—-are you trying to illustrate that Safari actually goes above and beyond here by looping infinitely on a page that is about a scam that is essentially about an ad technique that loops you endlessly?
- philistine 4y agoI had not thought of it that way !
- IncRnd 4y agoThe issue is somewhere in there. I loaded the site without JavaScript, and there were no issues.
